And For A Brief Pause

Filed under: Random — Robert John Ed @ 2:30 pm

Now this blog is almost always about marketing and normally I’ll find a way to spin the stuff that’s not about marketing to have some relevant point.

But this time I just want to point out that a big step is being taken in California. I’ve long thought that the oppression of particular people with differing sexuality than the norm (GLBT) is this generation’s form of segregation and racist oppression in the US. I happen to be straight, but the idea that we as a country haven’t already abolished the foolish notion that a sacrament of marriage can only be endowed to a straight couple is preposterous. A joke.

We looked foolish back then. And we will look similarly as foolish when common sense kicks in and we allow any human beings to do as they wish today; the sooner the better. Everyone deserves the same benefits of living in this state regardless of sexuality, race, religion or any other differentiating factor. This is common sense. This is freedom.

Now back to your regularly scheduled marketing program.

  1. Bob, would have to agree with you. I think some people get confused with what marriage is and what it isn’t, or maybe it means different things to different people?

To me it means that two people are willing to commit oneself to another for their entire lives.

Gay marriage doesn’t compromise marriage’s integrity, quick divorces and cheating spouses do.

  2. This from someone readying himself for the sacred vows. Kels is a lucky gal.
